Excel Urgent Care contacted our team after discovering that the rooftop unit (RTU) heaters were inoperable during the winter months. Although the building had been completed as a medical office, it was originally constructed as a shell building, and a gas meter had never been installed or connected to the HVAC system. After evaluating the site, we developed a plan to restore gas service, secured the necessary permits, and coordinated the installation of a new gas meter. Once the meter was set, our team installed the gas piping from the meter to the rooftop units, completed all required testing, and verified that each heater was operating safely and efficiently. This project highlights our ability to identify overlooked infrastructure issues and provide complete commercial gas piping solutions—from permitting and coordination to installation, testing, and commissioning.
